Indie hit Doodle Jump headed to Kinect

Expansion plans revealed as game hits ten million paid downloads

Doodle Jump developer Lima Sky has unveiled plans to expand the popular iOS title and bring it to the Xbox 360 for Kinect owners to enjoy via Xbox Live Arcade.

As well as the new Kinect version of the game, Doodle Jump is set to receive a free multiplayer update for the iPhone, as well as a release on iPad.

The developer said that the game has hit ten million paid mobile downloads just ahead of its second birthday.

"After such incredible first two years, it is safe to say Doodle Jump has exceeded even our wildest imaginations," said Lima Sky founder, Igor Pusenjak.

"We are looking forward to bringing even more amazing content to millions of Doodle Jump fans around the world."

Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has said Kinect is outselling Move 5:1 and suggested that demand for the console will outpace demand for its rivals in 2011.
