EA has said it will be pulling the PlayStation 3 multiplayer demo of Crysis 2 today to address problems that some players have been experiencing.
A post on EA's official Crysis forums from an Electronic Arts employee mentions "server connection delays" specifically and assures players that the problem has been identified and will be addressed for a "flawless" release next week.
"Though many gamers have had a great experience playing the demo, we are aware that others have been experiencing server connection delays
We've identified the root cause and have decided to close the PS3 demo in the next 24 hours to ensure all issues are resolved when the game launches next week. Our priority is to ensure that the final product is flawless at launch" reads the statement.
The PS3 version of Crysis 2 has been under scrutiny recently, with rumblings suggesting that it doesn't stand shoulder-to-shoulder with its 360 counter-part.
