PES 2011 gets price cut

Repackaged footy title to cost £29.99 on consoles and £19.99 on PC from April

Konami's to re-launch Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 on April 1 for £29.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360 and £19.99 on PC.

The game's being repackaged as part of Sony's Platinum range, the Xbox Classics label and as a Euro Classics title for PC in order to try and reach a broader audience.

"PES 2011 represents a huge step forward for the series and its new lower price will be a welcome chance for football fans to sample the sheer skill and artistry the game offers," said European PES team leader Jon Murphy.

DLC released for the game earlier this week featured team lineup updates, as well as new strips and football boots.
