Crytek's long-awaited Crysis 2 launches next week on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Much has been said about perceived graphical differences between all three versions, not least the 360 and PS3 SKUs.
Despite admitting that the PC version looks the best, however, Crytek has come out swinging this week - proudly boasting that there is no difference in performance between the FPS on Microsoft and Sony's console.
Happily, it's provided us all with our own chance to compare and contrast each format, with three gameplay trailers, each filmed on a difference system.
Check out the YouTube videos below and have a browse through the screenshots we've captured from them right here. All shots were taken from EA's full HD video - but bear in mind that some motion blur certainly has a role to play. (All of the gamplay demos move so quickly, there's hardly time to blink.)
Early impressions suggest that the PS3 version will carry a slightly darker, almost smokier appearance than the 360 SKU. And then there's those sunlight effects in the PC video. Wowsers.
Let us know what you think of all three trailers - and, of course, the format that is current most taking your fancy - in the comments underneath this post.
