HMV, Nintendo's official partner for this week's 3DS launch, has put together what it thinks is "the strongest deal on the high street" for the upcoming portable.
All customers across HMV's chain of 260 stores will receive an extra £20 above the regular trade-in price against their DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL consoles, meaning they will pay as little as £109.99 for 3DS.
HMV is also throwing in a £20 gift card for free to spend on anything else in-store. However, the offer is only available to customers who pre-order 3DS by March 24. The additional trade-in value drops to £10 between March 25 and April 7.
HMV has also offered a guaranteed trade-in price of £200 against the 3DS for customers who return the console by April 7. According to HMV, this is "better than any other high street retailer".
Nintendo detailed this Friday's 3DS launch earlier today, confirming that over 1,200 stores are planning to open at midnight to sell the console.
