Mass Effect 3 PS3 details coming April

First look coming in next month's games mags

It looks like Mass Effect 3 gameplay details should be with us within a month, as games mags start to tease the BioWare sequel for their next issues.

One such mag is respected UK unofficial title, PSM3. Its current edition promises a "world-first look at Mass Effect 3 on PS3" in its next issue, which goes on sale on April 28.

The French Official PlayStation Magazine's also promising a "long overdue" gaming return for its next issue, whilst US retailer mag Game Informer's promising a reveal of a "highly anticipated" sequel to one of 2010's best games. That's Mass Effect 3, then.

It'll be a busy month for game fans by the looks of it, especially if as reported Modern Warfare 3 shows its cards in mid-April too.

Mass Effect 2's final DLC add-on, Arrival, hit Xbox Live yesterday.

It's going to ge tough to stay clear of all the character and plot reveals building up to this game. In Mass Effect 2, BioWare released minor profiles of each character prior to the game but i think it would be much better to go into the game head first without knowing who you're recruiting.

The first detail will be - ps3 version delayed.

Unlikely, they've optimised engine whilst developing the engine for mass effect 3, and preliminarily tested it with ps3 version of me2.
So stop the pointless flame baiting

I'll try my hardest to avoid any articles and especially forums, as one of the ex-mods on here ruined the opening of ME2 prior to the game coming out.

If it is delayed it's cause the devs were all on top of ur mom!! Ouch ! Lol

i am have the choice of getting ps 3 or 360 version i am goning to get the 360 version because first off i have the first 2 games on 360. secondly the 360 is a better format for games anyway. xbox live is so much better than psn

It was a reference to ur username and a joke, so chill out dude, but as u were offended( ironic considering ur username) I've removed the offensive part.

How does whether u prefer live or psn affect this game? It's not exactly a mp fps. Standard fan boy comment with no actual substance to ur comment. Explain how live will enhance ur experience of this game, explain why the 360 is a better format for games. I'm guessing u got nothing but standard fan boy response .

wow! it really does annoy me that bioware and EA have basiclly made it look like ps3 where the ones to get mass effect first. i'm no fanboy but i do think that being as we started the franchise, xbox should get first details and reviews, i mean if we ever got killzone or unchanted etc... i would think that ps3 should get everything first. unless ofcourse this is just more lies.

Mass effect is an established ip on 360 , but me2 didn't sell tonnes on ps3, so it makes good business sense to hype it up. Ur looking at it through a 360 owners eyes rather than from a business sense.
    Chill man

Personally...Bring on ME3, Uncharted 3, Gears of War 3, and so many others...But I have no time for MW3 nor any want to be a part of it. With IW gone what's the point?

The news will be - 360 version canned and PS3 is lead platform.

    *Ultra-pessimistic 360 owner here* :P

No you're not! I did that too and just finished Arrival myself, Personally, owning the two of them I do believe the PS3 version is nicer to play, also it doesn't hurt that it's contained all on one disc so no disc-swap mid game and all the DLC is bundled with it too, including the collector armor / blackstorm weapon etc only previously available on the 360 if you had promo codes or the collector's edition. That said, I reckon I'm gonna by ME3 on the 360 purely because it'll look nice on the shelf next to ME1 and 2! I don't really care which platform is better than the other I'm just interested in the game, the console is a means to an end and fanboy arguments are pointless these days I feel.

    - I should clarify I didn't mean to say the armor's were bundled, but available to buy whereas they aren't on the XBOX without codes
