Well in the words of Randall from scrubs "That's a real punch in the crotch" i was looking forward to this trailer and got once again told to not get my hopes up. Sigh.
I was expecting something worse - I did almost smirk. But the drip feeding of nothing for this game is now starting to annoy me. It seems this joke is more laughing at us than with us. if they carry on like this, I might just not bother getting the game. The few screens I've seen have shown it to be looking rubbish anyway. I'm getting less and less enthused.
I've read the preview of SR3 in PSM3 and it does sound like it will be a good laugh to play but i just couldn't get into the previous game so it's all down to a demo for me.
I think I'm annoyed as they have announced the game, then denied they had announced it so announced it again, then released screens - which were just cover art. etc. etc.
The gameplay shown here is just a tease too far really. I'm getting fed up of being excited. and the screens they have shown just hasn't inspired me either. If this trailer was the only tease they had done, I'd probably be more forgiving.
I know! That single second of gameplay made this game, oooh, about 300% more excited about it! Still not sure I'll buy it but if c*ck punching is a staple part of the game I may be tempted! heehee
Game Informer featured The Third on it's cover this month. They only seemed to have good things to say about the game. I will admit SR2 had major issues graphically compared to it's predecessor(it looks like the brightness is turned up to high in it and framerate was terrible), but I really enjoyed the way the game just takes the p*ss out of itself so much. Its a game to have FUN with. One more thing, I do hope the english guy(he was in The Bard as well) whom voiced the second game returns as a choice for the Third's protagonist. THWho should keep him on for this one. YE...WO WO WO WO WO.

And really the more I see of this game the less I like it which is a shame 'cause I like the first 2 a lot.
The 2nd game was more crass than the 1st so Volition probably thought: "Hey!, if we keep turning up the crass knob (he he!) we'll get more sales!"
And I don't much care for it, but prove me wrong!
