StarCraft 2 gets three official mods

Aiur Chef, Left 2 Die, and StarJeweled officially released

StarCraft 2 players can now grab three official mods for their favourite RTS, with Blizzard having officially released Aiur Chef, Left 2 Die, and StarJeweled.

As the official site notes, the mods have been kicking around in beta form for some time, but having been "polished with improvements and bug fixes", they're now official available via the official site (link below), and come with official achievements and avatars to unlock.

StarJewelled is described as a puzzle strategy mod in which you match jewels to generate resources and spend them to attack with SC2 units. Aiur Chef has you gathering ingredients in a race to cook a meal (eh?), and Left 2 Die (spot the game reference there) has you and another player working together to defend your base from attacking Zerg hordes.

Grabbing mods such as these should hopefully be simpler in future as Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce has said that the StarCraft 2 marketplace first announced in 2009 is, despite its absence, still on the way.
