Details on the next Assassin's Creed game will arrive in "the next few months," art director Mohamed Gambouz has told media in Germany.
Asked about the next game's setting by invited guests at an Assassin's Creed art exhibition in Munich, Gambouz is reported to have replied:
"Well, I personally would do something completely new. Maybe something in an Asian or South American setting, at least nothing that we have already made. But in the end it's not my decision.
"But you can be sure that we read the reactions of our customers in forums, blogs and Facebook and Twitter very closely and also seriously talk through the suggestions from our players from time to time. In the next few months you will truly experience more details."
The art director's comments further cement plans for an imminent reveal of the next Assassin's Creed, after Ubisoft's said in an earnings call earlier this year it's planning to release information in May.
Asked during an investor call if we'll see a new game during its fiscal year 2011-2012, Guillemot replied: "There will be something around Assassin's - that's all we can say."
We can't wait.
