Capcom has finally released the first screenshots for Street Fighter X Tekken, its upcoming crossover fighting game with Namco Bandai.
Street Fighter X Tekken is built on the same tech that powers Street Fighter IV and as a result obvious similarities between the games can be seen in these screens.
The gameplay sticks to the 3D on a 2D plane approach, with fighters such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Kazuya and Nina duking it out.
The screens also reveal a few new characters from the roster, with Guile and Abel representing Street Fighter, while Bob, King and Craig Marduk fight for the Tekken corner.
The video and screens confirm that players will pick two characters for two on two brawls. The game will have mechanics such as tag-team moves and supers, as well as EX modifiers and and juggles.
The publisher first announced the game - along with Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Online Edition - last year.
