Wii 2 motion-sensing 'better than Move'

Third parties have reportedly had development units of the hardware for months

Wii 2 will retain motion controls with capabilities that are "better than Move", meaning that they boast higher fidelity, sources have told our pals at Edge.

The site also reports that major third party studios including those of Ubisoft, Activision and EA have been in possession of development units of the new hardware for months.

Wii 2 is set to be revealed at E3 and launched in late 2012, well-placed industry sources have told CVG.

We were also informed that the console will utilise an entirely new controller boasting a built-in HD screen, and that the system itself will be more powerful than Xbox 360 and PS3.
