It's no surprise that THQ and 4A Games are currently at work on a sequel to the excellent but under appreciated FPS, Metro 2033.
While it's referred to the sequel in the past as simply 'Metro 2034', the follow-up now looks like it could've picked up a name change. Domain sleuth superannuation has spotted a number of new registrations from THQ, which include 'Metro Last Light', 'Last Light Game' and 'Metro 2033 Last Light'.
Metro 2033 is set in a post-apocalyptic Russia, where the harsh climate above ground has forced the people to move into its subway system, which was built to double up as a nuclear bunker. The game is based on a popular novel written by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky.
THQ core games boss, Danny Bilson confirmed to CVG during E3 last year that Metro 2034 will be playable in 3D.
He went on to say the sequel will receive "a much more respectful" marketing push and that it'll have the ability to compete with "the Call of Dutys".
