id Software has unleashed a barrel of Rage screenshots, alongside the first details of the game's multiplayer offering.
There are six new shots in total and the package is full of the expected; mutants, mean looking buggies and blazing fires.
The multiplayer offering extends across both gameplay mechanics with Combat Rally seeing players speed around loose arena-esque courses hitting each other with weapons and racing for multiplyers.
The shooting contingent of the game is backed by a co-op mode called Legends of the Wasteland, which offers both online and split-screen missions based on areas seen in the single-player campaign.
You'll notice that there's no straight-up multiplayer deathmatch in the game, which is an attempt to keep the experience as close to the core of the single-player as possible, says id.
Rage was reported as weighing in at 15 hours earlier this month with a mix of post-apocalyptic shooting and racing being spread across two discs on the 360.
