Microsoft has opened a new development studio in Vancouver, Canada, that's reportedly working on a new 'core AAA shooter' for Kinect.
According to the studio's new site: "MGS Vancouver is building a world-class development team in Vancouver, BC, Canada, dedicated to making games for 'core' gamers."
It adds: "Our mission is to push the limits of proven and unexplored game development and show the world what's possible on Microsoft's game consoles."
It reinforces its 'core' focus in its recruitment drive, saying it's looking for "creative people who can create exciting experiences that core gamers will really want to play," but adds that it already has "a great team, and exciting projects".
None of those projects have been officially revealed, but the online CV of an art director at the studio lets slip that the team has been focused on "a core AAA shooter experience using Kinect". Thanks for that.
The studio says it will be sharing "resources and knowledge" with BigPark Studios, another Vancouver-based Microsoft Game Studios dev responsible for Kinect Joy Ride.
So, how would your dream Kinect shooter work?
