Harada 'hasn't started' Tekken X Street Fighter

Series head focuses on Tag Tournament, film

Tekken head Katsuhiro Harada has revealed he's not started work on his version of Capcom and Namco Bandai's fighting crossover, Tekken X Street Fighter.

This morning the Namco Bandai man revealed plans to release a full-length Tekken movie and he's already working on a sequel to Tekken Tag Tournament - two projects that seem to be taking up most of his time.

"We really haven't started on Tekken X Street Fighter," he told press at Namco Bandai's Dubai showcase this morning. "Things are going well with Street Fighter X Tekken and we'll have more on that at E3. We hope you look forward to that."

Last night Capcom's take on the series face-off looked likely to release before April 2012.

You can check out eight minutes of gameplay action from that title here

As for TxSF i think he's probs realised he got the sh**ty end of the stick on that one, i'm not saying that tekken is a bad game but i just dont think teh SF chars will cross over as well in teh tekken engine as the tekken chars seem to have in the SSF4 engine
