Ubisoft may be keeping its cards close to its chest with regards to a release date for Call of Juarez: The Cartel, but retailers clearly don't mind laying it all on the table.
According to US retail listings on Walmart, Target, GameStop, Amazon (via Gamespot) and Best Buy, the game will be out on June 28. The last date from Ubisoft was a vague "summer", but with each site listing the exact same date it would seem pretty firm to us.
UK retail listings aren't quite so definitive. Amazon UK says July 1, which makes most sense to us considering that's the typical trend of UK's Friday releases following US' usual Tuesday release dates.
Developed by Techland for PS3, Xbox and PC, The Cartel was officially confirmed for release this summer and introduces a present-day setting to the series.
The game - which was announced back in February - features a "deep and gritty" storyline that begins with a fictional drug cartel bombing a U.S. law enforcement agency, devastating the building and killing hundreds of people, says Ubisoft.
