Square Enix has confirmed it's cooking up a Dragon Quest compilation for Wii in Japan.
Detailing its plans on the official Japanese DQ site (translated via Gamespot), the firm is promising five games on a single disc although in actual fact it's just the first three Dragon Quest adventures.
It'll have DQ 1, 2 and 3, along with the Super NES versions of those same games (but DQ 1 and 2 on the SNES came on a single cart so it counts as one game). Confusing enough?
They'll all apparently go completely un-altered from their originals, and players will have the choice of using the Classic controller, a GameCube pad or Wii Remote.
There no word on a localised UK release.
Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii told press in March that Dragon Quest X is still on its way to Wii and is pretty far into development, despite the complete lack of information on it since its 2008 reveal.
