Not content with revealing mouth-watering single player and multiplayer details of Modern Warfare 3, Kotaku has also lifted the lid on the game's ending, and pretty every exciting thing that will happen to you during its campaign.
In an editorial entitled 'Where you'll go, how you'll kill and who will die in MW3', Kotaku reveals - incredibly - the ACTUAL ending of the game.
SINGLE-PLAYER SPOILERS FOLLOW. AVOID IF YOU WANT TO STAY PURE.
We're not going to lift the lid quite to quite that extent here. In a still-slightly-teasing nutshell, characters coming back to the game will include Vladimir Makarov, Captain John "Soap" MacTavish and Captain John Price, across 15 missions.
As previously mentioned, the campaign will take you across London and New York, but also Sierra Leone, Berlin and more.
At the start of the game, players take on the role of Yuri, a loyalist who works for Russian informant Nikolai, in a battle alongside MW2's heroes against Makarov's men in India.
Across the game, you also play as a Russian agent protecting the country's president and his daughter against a Makarov abduction, as well as an SAS operative witnessing a chemical weapon attack on London, a US tank gunner in Hamburg and as Delta Force operative Frost in Paris.
Effectively, there's a lot of globe-hopping, in which you play as a few different people, almost all chasing down Makarov. Then something dramatic happens. Then credits. We're saying no more than that. If you want the whole shebang, try Kotaku.
According to the site: "It also appears that the game may also include a post-credits level that features the burning of Washington, D. C. The stage seems set for a passing of the torch: from player-controlled members of Task Force 141 to the new characters from Delta Force."
