Nintendo's next home console controller will include a front-facing camera, a new report claims.
Speaking to respected industry publication Develop, the latest "insider" to leak supposed details on the Wii successor says the console's controller camera can be used to snap in-game images.
The source also supposedly confirmed some of the controller details that are already in circulation, including CVG's scoop that the pad will sport a six-inch touchscreen.
Develop's source elsewhere speculates - but "is not claiming to know" - that the Nintendo 3DS could act as a replacement controller for the Wii successor.
"The functions are the same," the source said. "It is a standard wireless controller added with a front-facing camera and touch screen. That sounds far too much like a 3DS to me. But I can't confirm this, Nintendo is being very cautious about the details."
Nintendo's confirmed it will show off its next console at E3 next month.
