Action RPG arriving October 7

Namco Bandai's announced that promising death-athon Dark Souls will be released in Europe on October 7.

The news follows this morning's E3 2011 trailer and US release date, which for those of you interested and sitting across the pond is October 4.

Game director Hidetaka Miyazaki's claimed that Dark Souls is 'not a sequel' to Demon's Souls - except we've seen it, and it sort of is.

Last month Namco Bandai announced a Dark Souls pre-order program that sees early birds secure a goodies-packed Limited Edition for no extra cost.

Gargh.... why can't they release it at the same time? I know people in the US that will be playing this and rubbing my face in it. This is absolutely my most anticipated game of the year bar none.
