Bethesda's put out eight minutes of RAGE gameplay footage ahead of E3.
The publisher announced last month that UK customers who pre-order the id shooter from select retailers will automatically get upgraded to the Anarchy Edition, which features a number of downloadable weapons.
In more Rage news, id recently unleashed the first details on the game's multiplayer offering.

It is very good looking but all facial movements seem horrid now after playing LA Noire.

Was excited , but now playing a patient waiting game and seeing what end product turns out like. I read somewhere there's no cover system in this game , which seems a bit prehistoric to say least, but carmack is a legend of industry , at least in terms of tech, so this might turn out great. It's certainly more borderlands than call of duty, which may affect people's choice. I'm not really an rpg person , and this seems to have rpg elements, so maybe if it's not too heavily rpg influenced I'll pick this up.

Looks excellent. Really enjoyed the bright, detailed architecture and the action seemed nice and fluid.

I remember first seeing screen shots of Doom 3 and thinking "no way is this real, no computer can generate graphics like this, this has to be a mock up" I was wrong. It looked amazing, it looked a clear generation ahead of anything else out at the time. I look at this and think "Oh look borderlands / fallout 3" Nothing in those 8 minutes amazed me or looked ahead of it's time in the way Doom and Quake and doom 3 all did...
I'll end up buying this because I love Id and I love a good FPS ( which this will no doubt be ) but when did Carmack stop giving us the future and start giving us stuff that looks like it could be made by any competant software house ?

What is this lean you speak of?

Yes i must say, i love games from ID software, Quake III Arena being my favourite game so far, it seems to borrow elements of Bioshock game, electrocution being the obvious one, but i like what they have done, especially including driving parts in the game to break it up a bit, could this become my new favorite, time will tell.

Looks nice but seems a bit, well, old fashioned. No proper cover mechanics? Meh.
