Sony's announced ModNation Racers for the PlayStation Vita at its E3 conference in L.A, a trailer and a sack of screenshots has already hit our office floor.

The handheld version of the cartoon karting title will make use of the Vita's touchscreen capabilities, utilising them in its track creation mode.

Players will be able to draw their track on valleys and mountains by moving their finger all over the screen and, apparently, forests are allocated to the tumb.

There are nine screenshots along with the video to tease your peepers with. Have a look.

Graphically that is quite impressive. Terrible karter on the original psp though so I'm not holding out to much hope. Bioshock and uncharted sound great but where is the new ips just for the psv? Remember that just porting ps2 games screwed the psp over Sony...
