Activision has released a new trailer for Spider-Man: Edge of Time that provides a brief overview of the story and a quick look at gameplay.
Developed by Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions studio Beenox, Edge of Time allows players to take control of classic Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 to correct a catastrophic future brought on by the premature demise of Peter Parker.
Activision officially announced Spider-Man: Edge of Time in March, when it provided a number of story and gameplay details.

That doesnt look too bad but why drop the noir levels? They were the best part of Shattered Dimensions.

Really enjoyed Shattered Dimensions, best Spidey game in a long time. The Noir levels were certainly the most distinct levels in the game and does seem odd to remove them completely. Unless we are being treated to a stand alone Noir game. I'd be very happy with that.
And the inclusion of Anti-Venom in Edge of Time can only be a good thing, looks like he plays a pivotal role in Spideys demise.

Id love to see a Noir game. Id like to see it mirror the comics more closely and also include the Punisher and Daredevil Noirs as well to really tip me over the edge.
Is Amazing going to segue into current Spidey what with him losing his spidey sense?

Here's hoping for that Noir game, they could really make AAA game with the material at hand.
Would be good if Edge of Time could keep up with the current story arcs, but look at the delay between the Civil War and Ultimate Alliance 2. Will need the development time so there'll always be some kind of gap imo. When did Anti-Venom first hit the scene? that can only be a couple of years ago if that.

DLC would be a nice way to keep up with the monthlys...I really hope they look at the idea of a Noir game though. Batman AA should have pointed developers in the right direction to start taking superhero titles.
All i need now is a sidescrolling version of The Boys based on Spikeouts engine and The Walking Dead running on the same engine as Skyrim and i will literally implode!
