BioWare CEO Ray Muzyka has confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will support Kinect.

It'll let players use voice control to converse with characters in-game, he said at Microsoft's E3 press conference just now.

You'll be able to read out dialogue from the game's conversation wheel instead of clicking on individual responses with the controller, "fluidly launch tactical assaults" against enemies by issuing voice commands to your squad mates, and also select weapons and abilities just by speaking.

Muzyka said BioWare will show more Mass Effect 3 Kinect functionality this week during E3. EA's conference is scheduled to take place later this evening.

More integration like this could make Kinect a much more tempting add-on. I like! :)

This is the stuff I hoped for when Kinect was unveiled, so I hope this works well. :D

Erm, isn't that the kind of thing we can use a microphone to do, instead of a £100+ piece of hardware?

Yea....will they have voice control for the pseye? Anything that just utilizes voice control for kinect is nice, but doesn't make the price worth it.

Groovy little addition for those with a Kinect. Reminded me of the old Rainbow Six game i had on the original xbox, which is a good thing.

Nice, I doubt reading the dialogue would be any fun, but selecting guns and issuing commands would make the battles more fluid :) I don't have kinect but its only £50 now in cex so I might have to pick 1 up at that price if more games utilise it for actual useful stuff like this and not for gimmiks.
