EA's put out its Battlefield 3 gameplay trailer, which is packed full of gorgeous in-game footage.
It highlights the following feature set:
- Animation - a new level of FPS realism
- Destruction - annihilate buildings, demolish colver
- Scale - huge detailed landscapes, dense urban areas
- Rendering - cinematic image quality, lighting, and effects
- Audio - award winning immersion and atmosphere

This is the big one for me. Played Bad Company 2 since launch and i'm confident that Battlefield 3 is going to blow it and pretty much every other FPS clean out of the water. Don't think i'll bother with CoD this time around....well,might get it as a prezzie come Christmas.

This might be the first time I get Battlefield instead of COD. Mostly because this looks ace, but whilst I still massively respect what COD does, I just don't get excited about it like I used to, I want a real change.

Dunno if anyone caught it, I think its the parts with the Eiffel Tower in the background and when that old guy in white shirt pops up on screen.

Hey CVG, the quality of these E3 trailers you post is appalling. Where is the HD option(s)? At least offer the choice of 720p or 1080p if available. This video is about the same as the 240p quality on YouTube. So I'm off to YouTube (again) where I can easily find these trailers in decent quality. I bet your advertisers love your readers to say that.
