Black Box has just confirmed that Need for Speed: The Run will bring the franchise's first 'on foot' gameplay.
The gameplay segments were described as "intense, high-action moments".
The demo that was played for the crowds at E3 looked like a Heavy Rain-style QT sequence where players had to hit triangle at the right time to jump gaps and the shoulder buttons to grab onto ledges.

They are really trying hard to kill this series off. I can't believe anyone thought the QTE segments were a good idea. I still think the original was the best in this series.
