BioShock will be coming to a handheld platform for the first time on Sony's PSP successor, PS Vita.
BioShock creator Ken Levine took to the Sony stage moments ago to confirm the series' handheld debut, as well as PlayStation Move support for BioShock Infinite on PS3.
Levine didn't reveal any specifics on either announcement, neither of which we really saw coming.
Sony also confirmed that the PS3 version of BioShock Infinite will come with a copy of the first BioShock game on the same Blu-ray disc. Bonus.

Really interested to see what they do on the Vita, shazam beat you to it CVG!
Glad the whole "exclusive content" thing is dead this year. Dunno why Sony are trying to peddle it a little, it seems a bit odd, but at least it smells like the developers have said "no" to the giants like MS and Sony which is good news for gaming. Wonder if people will have to pay more for the PS3 version due to extra games? If so: dodgy. Ancient, incredibly popular games that most own? would be a tad wonky.

Duel analogue sticks = WIN
Finally i can take the handheld side of sony seriously, this and everything else they showed blew me away, every game bar 1 was exclusive no multi format filler because quite frankly sony have an avalache of stuff for their systems this year.
I was worried after watching the awfull 360 showcase, only mass effect and ghost recon impressed me on that presentation, this one however..... WOW
And tommorow we get Nintendo new hardware as well..... GOOD WEEK for me!
Man it's 3 in the morning, i need to go to bed

This is really impressive, free original Bioshock with every copy. If I hadn't bought into the series already, this would have convinced me 1000%. I hope the Vita version will be a good full scale game and not a watered down PS3 game, Sony cannot afford to make that mistake again this time round. They gotta spend the big bucks, no matter their perilous financial position currently.
