Epic Games looks set to support Nintendo's next-generation console, if a Tweet from VP Mark Rein is anything to go by.

Rein Tweeted: "We have another pretty cool announcement coming today at around 10AM PST" - just as Nintendo's E3 press conference starts heading towards a conclusion.

Epic of course has a long running history with Nintendo platforms, as in it's never really supported them.

Speaking at GDC this year, Rein famously said, "the second Nintendo releases a piece of hardware that can run our engine well, we'll be on it like water on fish."

It wouldn't be a surprise to see them up on stage this afternoon then. Hit the link for our Nintendo E3 press conference live stream.

I'm like a kid at Christmas with excitement over this Nintendo conference. Gonna hook my laptop up to the TV and watch it on the big screen :D

Epic games would be most welcome.

it would be funny if the video that they released of their new engine a while ago was actually running on nintendo's new console. That and the fact that gtaV hasnt been at anyone else's conference. One can hope :)
