EA CEO John Riccitiello also promised an 'unprecedented partnership' with Nintendo that'll see multiple EA games appearing on Wii U. A video running behind the exec as he spoke on stage showed the company's leading sports franchises, as well as Battlefield 3, although no specific EA titles have been confirmed for the system.

Sega West CEO Mike Hayes has said his company is 'fully supportive' of the new Nintendo console, stating that Wii U "opens up an impressive amount of new opportunities for publishers and developers alike."

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot called Wii U "an amazing new source of inspiration for our developers". "With the combination of technologies brought together by this console, our creative teams will be able to take the Ubisoft vision of developing rich, immersive and innovative gaming experiences for all audiences even further," he said.
