If you're just joining us here's a quick update: Nintendo's new console is called the Wii U, features a touch screen controller, and you've been living in a cave (or have a social life).

Confused? Here's a couple of videos our guys at E3 have captured of the Wii U controller in action.

In the first video you can see the elaborate new controller being shown off, while the second video features Official Nintendo Magazine editor Neil Long discussing the new console.

Is it me, or was the camera man just using the controller as an excuse to film that good lady's chest?

    I want to know:
    1) how heavy it feels
    2) how long the battery life is
    3) how the 4 buttons feel being under the 2nd analogue stick (I personally would have placed them above the stick)

I'll be undecided until I see real games running and we know whether developers come up with anything properly great that a PS3/360 can't already do.

But it does look a nice little unit

yeah I want someone telling me what it's like to hold the controller.

the button position and overall flatness and squareness of the controller make me think it'll be awkward to use.

talk about what it's like to hold the thing CVG
