BioWare co-founder Dr. Ray Muzyka has told CVG he believes Mass Effect 3's delay to 2012 will pay off for fans of the series.
Speaking to our E3 agents in LA, the co-doctor said: "All of our games are committed to quality for our fans and we felt the extra time that we're going to build Mass Effect 3 is going to pay back dividends to the fans."

The sci-fi sequel was confirmed earlier this week to support Kinect, allowing players to progress through conversation trees using voice recognition.

I don't doubt that the delay is a good thing for a second, not just in terms of how the game will be better for it, but because if it came out too close to Skyrim, then my face would probably melt and my brain fall out. You can have too much of a good thing!
