E3 2011: Mario Party 9 revealed, screens and trailer arrive

Nintendo has very quietly announced Mario Party 9 at E3 and released a few screenshots and a trailer for the game.

If you're not familiar with the Mario Party games (where have you been, there are loads of them), playing usually involves a few people getting together, waving their Wii remotes about and hammering buttons to compete in goofy mini-games.

Mario Party 9 has plenty more of that. Check out the video and screens below to see more.

    If they're set on making another instalment, just look at one of the first couple and copy that, with motion controls. 8 was pretty terrible, with poor boards and that bizarre hat character.
