That's still an option, of course, but BioWare's Ray Muzyka would love you (and us) to give the new Kinect features a chance.
ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM
This is the big one. The one you lot were really wetting yourself over and, if the accounts coming out of E3 are anything to go by, not without good reason. In fact, our chap in the US (Clarky again) was so blown away by Skyrim's E3 showing that he was ready to name it game of the year right there and then. Unfortunately he doesn't have such authority.
"Other than Uncharted 3, it's hard to see anything stopping Skyrim right now," he said in his Skyrim preview. "Bethesda properly blew us away with their demo, and to be honest it's made a lot of stuff we've seen afterwards seem pretty pale in comparison."
The preview itself kicks off with a simple exclamation of "Wow." There wasn't a whole lot of raw Skyrim content to come out of E3 for you lot to get your eyes on (we're expecting a gameplay video on Monday), but with words as enthusiastic as the above, it almost doesn't matter.
If your anticipation meters weren't at maximum before they probably should be now. It looks like Skyrim's going to absolutely storm 2011.
