Sega readies five titles for 3DS eShop

Nintendo release schedule outs new games for 3DS online shop

The 3DS' eShop store is finally open (to those who download the update through their handhelds) and Sega looks set to deliver a bunch of games in the next few weeks.

A new Nintendo release schedule lists five games headed to the online store this 'summer' from the home of Sonic, including two games starring the blue mascot himself.

According to the list, Sega is cooking up; Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble, Sonic Drift 2, Shinobi, Dragon Crystal and Columns. It's unspecified which of these titles will simply be emulated as Virtual Console games or re-released with 3D effects as part of the 3D Classics range.

Nintendo last week revealed the first new hardware colour for 3DS - a Flare Red version set for Japan next month.
