Devil's Third is scheduled for a 2013 release date and may come to Wii U as well as PS3 and 360.
Director Tomonobu Itagaki confirmed the news in an interview with Impress Watch (via Andriasang), also reiterating that the game is about 30 percent complete.
The title's multiplayer mode is in a playable state, but the developer's still working on increasing the player count (Itagaki wants 32) and accuracy.
Itagaki also reportedly ruled out Kinect compatibility for Devil's Third, suggesting the the hands-free control device is designed for families and casual experiences.
The colourful developer is looking to show of Devil's Third at Tokyo Game Show later this year.
