Yakuza: Of The End, PSP on top in Japan

Zombie themed Yakuza game does the business

Yakuza: Of The End took the No.1 spot on the Japanese software chart during the week ended June 12, while PSP remained the top selling gaming hardware.

The Zombie themed Yakuza title sold a little under of 300,000 units in its debut week, according to data from Media Create (via Andriasang).

Its closest competition, the previous week's No.1 Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D, sold a paltry 15,551 units.

In what was a slow week for software sales overall, the PS3 version of Red Faction Armageddon also debuted at No.9 on the chart, moving 5,436 copies.
