Battlefield 3 made its console demo on the Jimmy Fallon show last night, but the PS3 demo wasn't to everyone's liking, with some gamers complaining that it didn't stand up to the PC gameplay shown off to date.
Naturally DICE has jumped to defend the console version which, while not as pretty as the PC one, still looks pretty s**t hot.
Johan Andersson, a rendering architect at the developer working on the Frostbite engine and Battlefield 3, said on Twitter: "why would anyone expect that console would look the same as PC? if that was the case we would have failed with the PC version."
DICE general manager Karl Magnus Troedsson also pointed out that the version being shown off was pre-alpha, so it's bound to improve as the game approaches release this October.
