Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will have Kinect integration.
The inclusion of the motion sensor in the 343 HD remake was confirmed by Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer.
Spencer also pointed once again to the growing application of motion control.
"As a first party we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games," he told Gamespot. "Be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse, even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration."
It's not yet clear how Kinect will be used in the Halo remake.
Spencer had already said that all first party 360 games are likely to have Kinect support in future, so this comes as little surprise.
343 has already detailed how Halo: CE Anniversary will differ from the original with the inclusion of things like jetpacks and the Reach engine for multiplayer.
