Max Payne 3 listed for December release

Retailers point to Christmas date for Rockstar sequel

Both Amazon and GameStop in the States have switched to the Christmas date, with the former even e-mailing pre-order customers to claim that the listing was "changed by the publisher."

Cautiously looking forward to seeing what they do with Max Payne 3, without Sam Lake I dont know if its going to be a true Max Payne Game.

Ill be keeping an eye out for it for sure though.

I'm going to go into this with the same expectations i had for DNF, alice 2 and soon Driver 4. Happy to be playing a sequel at all. Those expecting the second coming are always going to be disappointed so i'm just going to take it as is.

Sweet! Loved the first two Max Payne titles, the setting and balls to the wall gameplay were right up my alley.
Im very curious to find out how Max ends up with no hair too!
Perfect timing too, all the big un's will have released by the end of Nov. Giving MP3 plenty of breathing room:)

I am uncertain what to think about MP3,i really couldn't get into the first title, but loved and finished the second, now with it being solely Rockstar(who are one of my favourites)..will they do away with the stuff that Remedy brought to the table?

Just can't see this happen even as much as I'd love it. It seems too soon. Wouldn't expect this until 2012. Unless they suddenly saw the light and by some miracle managed to make it all come together and the development is suddenly racing forwards..

So long as there are no terrible dream sequences, all will be well.
