Kinect support for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary sounds interesting to us. But for the more skeptical of you (this is the internet - that means most of you), this morning's new is cause for concern.
The inclusion of the motion sensor in the 343 HD remake was confirmed by Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer, but no further details were released.
Microsoft doesn't, however, want this to ring any alarm bells in fans afraid of features that would ruin their precious Halo.
"It's no surprise we're exploring ways Kinect can enhance game experiences in authentic and meaningful ways," Microsoft told Kotaku today.
"The Kinect features we're exploring with 'Halo: Anniversary' are additive and will not affect the core gameplay experience or alter our mission of delivering a faithful recreation of the original game," it added, seeking to alleviate concerns.
"That said we have nothing else to share just yet," concluded MS. In other words, you're not getting any more info on it yet so sling yer hook.
