Earlier today EU Mortal Kombat players on PS3 found the latest Store content update did not feature the promised Skarlet DLC, and listed the new costume pack at almost double the US price.

We contacted Warner Bros. to find out what's going on and a spokesperson for the publisher explained that the Skarlet DLC will not be available on the EU PS Store until next week due to a 'technical issues' and that the prices for the costumes are a mistake.
Here's the full statement.
"Unfortunately, due to some technical issues, the Mortal Kombat Skarlet DLC will not be available to PSN users in Europe until next week. We apologise for any inconvenience but assure fans that Skarlet and her fatalities are on the way.
To clarify the posted price of the Classic Skins pack on PSN is incorrect and is currently being rectified to £3.19 for UK users and €3.99 for European users.
All users will have access to the compatibility pack and free classic skins - Cyrax and Sektor - once Skarlet is available."

A good example of a company that will listen to fan complaints!
If only Activision would do the same
Killzone 3, for example, is an amazing game, and they had dlc released yesterday. £4 for 4 new maps. Not £10 that Activision somehow manage to get away with.
Well...i've had enough!
*raises pitchfork*
Who's with me?

I'd like to know what these "technical issues" are, if the content can go up on the US store and can be purchased through the in game store then whats stopping them doing it in europe?

Ah this explains it.
A 'technical issue'. Standard BS comment.
How come the game got patched then in EU which I'm guessing accounts for Skarlet? Excuses excuses.

NRS forgot to translate her ending captions into anything other than English and I'd think SCEE would be more apt to notice that than SCEA, so that could be a reason. Possibly the desynchronization errors when playing online with others without DLC, but that was occurring even with just the classic costumes that did get released. Skarlet also lacks an alternate costume, although footage exists of one, and nobody from NRS seems to be commenting on it, so it's unknown if that was intentional or a mistake.
