Rockstar's announced LA Noire for release on PC this autumn.
The PC version is being developed by Rockstar Leeds, will run on "a wide range of PCs" and feature customization, including keyboard remapping and gamepad functionality, says Rockstar.
More excitingly, the house of GTA promises improved graphical enhancements and 3D support for the mouse and keyboard version.
"L.A. Noire is a new type of game that makes players see through a detective's eyes in 1940s Los Angeles," said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games. "Its unique blend of story, action and crime solving will be perfect to play on PC."
The console version of the Team Bondi-developed crime thriller was released in May, quickly shipping 4 million units to become the fastest-selling new game IP in UK history.

Congratulations PC gamers. Now you can play a puzzle game that solves itself by finding all the clues for you, and adjusting the story so that you solve the case even if you fail all the interrogations. You can also play a game with possibly the worst shooting mechanics in recent history. But yeah, I admit, the facial reconstructions are amazing.

I'd just decided that I probably won't bother with this game on PS3 - was tempted, but decided against. Now it's coming to PC I'm definately getting it.
I've also decided that I won't bother Red Dead - PC would definately change my mind on that too...

3D on PC is largely useless, drops framerate so much that you can't enjoy the game unless you play it on hardware 2-3 years after the game is out
No multiplayer? RDR would have been a better game to port to PC rather than this game.
