Reflections discusses how Shifting works online

Driver: San Francisco's creative director Martin Edmondson has discussed how developer Reflections is making use of its unique 'Shift' mechanic for online multiplayer

Speaking to CVG at Ubisoft's London summer showcase event, Edmondson described the online mode as having a "Matrix-like element" where a car will "suddenly transform in front of you because one of the other players has grabbed it and it does become quite chaotic in some situations".
