Last week on site of the week we took a look at Ironhammers, a site that aspires to be the one-stop-shop for PC gaming news and reviews.

We caught up with its two hosts (and all-powerful wizards) Adam and Darrell to chat about the site, its strengths and the future.
What sets The Lonely Wizards apart from other sites?
We think there are two things that set us apart. The first being that we only write about the games and gaming news which interests us. Many of the popular sites serve as news aggregates, and that's great because the sites we're fans of are very good at it. But because both of the Wizards have jobs which are not in the gaming industry, we devote our time to the subjects that interest us and we think will appeal to like-minded people.
Secondly, our site serves to primarily support our podcast. It is a place where visitors to our Tower can find links to whatever we've discussed in The Lonely Wizards Podcast, and also gives us space to talk about subjects that we perhaps couldn't fit into our recorded shows.
What would you say you specialise in?
Our podcast is definitely what we're most proud of, and what we work hardest on. The Wizards have been friends for many years and we've been told that we have an infectiously funny kind of banter.
Our podcast is mostly about gaming but we also use it as a chance to talk about random things that catch our eye like a forcefield made from beehives (yes it really exists) or having a hog-roast centipede at your wedding. Tasty. It's also been proven that listening to our podcast makes you painfully attractive.
Some of the things we talk about delve into the depths of offensiveness so we're definitely not for people who have sensitive ears. We do love a good swear.
What do you have planned for the future?
We will continue doing what we love - talking and writing about games! The podcast is now on Episode 22 and still going strong. We are also going to start shooting regular video content soon as it's something we've been interested in doing for a while now.
Finally, we are working on something so super-special that it would pop your eyes out of their sockets if I told you what it was, so you'll just have to subscribe to our podcast to find out!
Oh, and one day our own brand of home-made jam
