3DS pulled from Amazon in the US

Online retailer puts the product 'Under Review'

The Nintendo 3DS has been pulled from Amazon in the US and been placed 'Under Review'.

While everything looks fine and dandy on the UK site, visitors looking to pick up a 3DS online are presented with the following message:

"While this item is available from other marketplace sellers on this page, it is not currently offered by because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!) We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible."

It sounds like it may be a problem with the way in which Amazon has been shipping the portable, which has been on sale since March.

Examiner notes that some early 3DS adopters complained of top screen scratching caused by the 3DS' lower screen and speculates this could be part of the problem. had its own 3DS problems during the handheld's launch in March. Judging by angry comments from purchasers, delivery updates stalled for many with the device not reaching buyers in a timely fashion.
