Ubisoft shows off San Francisco's online offerings

Ubisoft has released a brand new developer diary for Driver: San Francisco focusing on the game's several multiplayer gameplay modes.

It looks like they'll feature a mixture of standard racing modes as well as a few that rely heavily on the game's 'Shift' mechanic, which allows hero Tanner to inhabit the bodies of unwitting civilians.

Ubisoft revealed last week that the PC version of Driver: San Francisco will require players to be constantly connected to the internet, while the console editions will be the first games to use the company's new online pass system.
