We've just got our hands on eight juicy minutes of gameplay from the Diablo 3 beta - and you can watch it all below.
Meanwhile, Blizzard has announced an in-game auction for the title - in which players will be able to sell loot for real money.
The title will reportedly also require an always-on internet connection.

Hmmm... Doesn't look particularly next gen. I know its only beta stage but I've seen 15 quid PSN and XBL games that make this look mediocre. Don't get me wrong, I'm not all about the aesthetics but considering the hype and wait around this game, I would have expected a little more.

I thought it looked sweet and cannot wait to play it. Fans of the first two games are the ones who are wowed by this video. I can see how some people might not like what they see especially if they havent played the others but its incrediably addictive and this is much improved over the previous games.

On the alien mutated third hand I dont see enough reason here to buy a 30-40 quid game when I could just go play Diablo 2

Well thats basically it. Its Diablo. Like its Halo. or Call of Duty or Killzone or any other milked franchise that washes a shore every year or so, or many years in this case. Still, If I aged like Diablo then I would still look like I did when I was 18

Oh there's no doubting that many people will overlook this one but I don't ever think for a second it was going to light a fire under someone that isn't willing to invest hours of hacking and looting.
This genre can only go so far so I say stick to what it's good at and by the looks of this video it certainly is!
