Activision has confirmed during an investors earnings call today that the Wii version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released this year.

While Activision confirmed the Wii release, it didn't go into details on the studio in charge of development for the Wii platform, or whether it would be compatible with the new Call of Duty Elite service.
Modern Warfare 3 will be released on 360, PS3 and PC on November 8.

Who plays the Wii anymore? And I ask that as a Hardcore Nintendo fan. The only game I got for it this year was Kirby (which is great) and, other than Zelda SS and Xneowhatever there is nothing!
And f**k CoD!!

I play the Wii most weeks for PES 2011 and am looking forward to PES 2012, Xenoblade and Zelda SS. It's great that some third parties are still supporting the Wii.

I do and I love Black Ops on the Wii its great. Plus apart from Zelda SS, Xenoblade, you've got Last Story and Pandoras Tower to come. And if you like Kirby theres a new Kirby game on the Way which has 4 player support like New Super Mario Bros.
