Sony Computer Entertainment has filled a trademark for 'Infraworld', a game previously cancelled in the early stages of development at Heavy Rain studio Quantic Dream.

Heavy Rain auteur David Cage previously confirmed to CVG that Quantic Dream is beavering away on two "very different" projects - and when they're finished, he's going to turn his attention to shaking up the shooter category.
"I want to create a genre," he said. "I want to convince more people that [emotional gaming] is a valid direction for the industry; to show them that this was not just one product, one story. It's a format that can be used to tell any kind of story in any genre with any tone."
He added: "I would really like the opportunity to work on a different type of game. I would love to see if what we discovered could be applied to a first-person shooter, for example."

Heavy Rain was the reason I got my Ps3!
Dam fine game, and NOTHING has got me as emotionally attached as this game! Including Aries / Arieth (sp) death in FF7 (not that I cared for her, more the hundreds of hours grinding for her levels)!
Bring it on, more emotionally envoking games please

That's better... not everyone would have played the game. Also her name was

Just don't forget to actually add a game amongst all the weepy, sappy stuff, eh? And hire a better script writer whilst you're at it!

Heavy Rain is the best PS3 game and the best PS3 exclusive imho. People who haven't tried it give it ago.
Its up there with MGS3, Resi 4 and San Andreas as my favourite games ever.
