Zelda Anniversary concert dated for London

Nintendo's orchestra to descend on Hammersmith in October

Nintendo's announced that the London leg of its Legend Of Zelda 25th anniversary symphony concert tour will be held on October 25.

The London concert will take place at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo, with tickets going on sale via Ticketmaster from August 8, starting at £33.75.

The event will be the only one held in Europe this year, says Nintendo, and will feature orchestral songs hand-picked by Nintendo composer Koji Kondo and his team.

The concerts will be produced by Jason Michael Paul, Inc., the producers of PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, which has toured the world performing music from video games.

"The Legend of Zelda series is famous for its beautiful music and we are thrilled to celebrate 25 years of memorable soundtracks from this iconic series by letting a symphony orchestra bring this music to life," said Laurent Fischer, Managing Director of Marketing & PR for Nintendo of Europe.

"The symphony orchestra concert in London will allow fans from across Europe to come together and show their love for all things Zelda while enjoying a truly unique performance & experience."
